2 x one hour lessons focusing on the arguments against God based on the problem of suffering and evil. The lessons require no prep beforehand and encourage students to consider a variety of philosophical arguments for and against God and their religious counter-arguments. They then use these, as well as new terminology and knowledge to tackle practice exam questions and peer assess them. These were used in for GCSE RS Thematic Studies AQA Theme C (9-1) - but both are adaptable for other exam boards or KS3. Both are fully editable and introduce a variety of new philosophical terminology, quotes, activities, 12 mark practice questions, clips and questions and fully differentiated for grades 3-9. There is a focus mostly on Christianity and Islam for the religious arguments. This pack includes 2x PowerPoints, worksheets, clips and activities - all well differentiated. 4 x 1 GCSE hour lessons covering a variety of focus issues from AQA Component 2 - Religion, Human Rights and Social Justice (theme F AQA). These are all editable and can easily be amended for any exam board. These lessons are focused on Christian and Islamic views. Note - Lesson 4 is an updated version of lesson 3 (still very different, but you have to have 3 paid resources in a bundle so I’ve added it in for free.) This detailed 21 page PSHE / RSE workbook and lesson pack has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance (specifically unhealthy relationships and personal safety) and focuses on forced marriage. The lesson includes a detailed one-hour PowerPoint, various differentiated activities, clip task, information sheets and literacy tasks. The workbook contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete. The workbook is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained.
